REQUIREMENTS, POLI​CIES AND PROCEDURES

-REQUIREMENTS-

PLEASE NOTE: A Meet and Greet will be required before scheduling any daycare days or overnight boarding.

Appointments are REQUIRED for this initial assessment.

All dogs joining us at CJ's for daycare and or boarding are required to be:

  • In a good condition of health. (No coughing, vomiting, diarrhea 48 hours prior to arrival)
  • Well adjusted & display no signs of aggression towards other dogs or people.
  • Free of fleas and on regular monthly flea protection.
  • Spayed or neutered by 7 months of age for small to medium dogs, by 12 months for large & giant breeds.
  • At least 4 months old, with all shots completed.
  • Current on all vaccinations including: (Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, Bordetella, Canine Influenza (Starts as a series of 2 vaccines given 2-4 weeks apart, must wait 1 week after 2nd dose to attend, after that annual vaccine is required).
    • Proof of current vaccinations will need to be emailed to us prior to a scheduled Meet and Greet appointment

*Dogs rescued from shelter must be home with new owner & illness free for at least 2 weeks. 

-POLICIES-

CANCELATION POLICY

-A no-show or cancellation within 24 hours of the scheduled reservation will still be charged a fee:

     Daycare: Half price of the daycare fee

     Overnight Boarding: One overnight boarding fee.  

1ST TIME CLIENT POLICY

For first time clients, we ask that you pay in full prior to your first Staycation or at the time of first drop off. 

LATE PAYMENT

Upon departure, your invoice will be sent via text. Please pay full balance within 7 days. If payment is not received in 7 days, there will be a $25 late fee added to your balance. 

LATE TEXTING AFTER HOURS

Next day add ons will be declined if texting requests are outside of our normal business hours.  (6:30am-7pm Monday-Friday & 9am-5pm Saturday & Sunday)

LONG TERM GUESTS

-LONG TERM GUESTS staying for more than 2 weeks will require a prepayment along with a credit card to be held on file in the event of further extension and incidentals such as additional food, products, and vet visits.

-PROCEDURES-

IN THE CASE OF EMERGENCY CARE our staff will notify all parties of any dog injury situation. If the owner is unable to pick up dog in a reasonable amount of time, CJ’s Pet Staycation is authorized to seek immediate medical attention from either vet partner. All charges prepaid by The CJ’s Pet Staycation will be reimbursed by patient owners. Any further financial compensation is to be worked out by owners of dogs involved. Owner will reimburse CJ’s Pet Staycation for any charges related to emergency care including the full cost of vet invoice plus a professional service fee (20%). I agree to indemnify and hold harmless CJ’s Pet Staycation for all and any results thereof. 

LIABILITY WAIVER: CJ’s Staycation which will do business in the State of California will endeavor to offer only sound, safe, and responsible care for my dog(s). However, I understand the risks inherent in dog daycare, including but not limited to interactions with other dogs and potential exposure to disease and parasites such as but not limited to fleas. Further, I am and will remain responsible for the actions of my dog at all times and I hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless CJ’s Pet Staycation of any and all claims of injury, expense, costs, or damages caused by the actions of my dog while under CJ’s Pet Staycation care.
